Spoonful of booze.

A spoon full of sugar,
Makes the medicine go down,
In that wisdom,
We lost ourselves,
Last night,
Beneath seven layers,
Of neon light,
I took of my shades,
Your eyes,
Finally saw,
That I was only,
Chaotic, messy, raw,
Not any of the things,
I appear to be,
Just a spoon full of sugar,
Makes the medicine go down,
Just a few sips of liquor,
Makes the words flow,
To places they are not,
Supposed to go...
I am too cold,
For this anything to grow,
Yet I can not say,
That tonight if I find,
Your eyes staring into mine,
A few sips of liquor,
Won't make me speak in such a flow,
I just wanted you to know,
You are warned.

Just a spoonful of sugar, makes the medicine go down.
