Reassurance

I was talking and dancing and drinking,
Just what we do when going out,
He said to me,
How did it end with him yesterday?
And I was shocked,
Almost surprised,
He laughed when I said I was,
For he just saw it different,
He liked it for me,
Even if everybody would hate me for it,
He would be oaky...
It was the sweetest kind of reassurance I ever had,
